JOB SUMMARY: Plans, organizes, directs and carries out a program of activities for residents as an integral part of total resident care.

Employees are subject to the risks inherent to working in a healthcare facility. The physical activities of this position involve: balancing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive movement, standing and stooping. An individual in this position will be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, respiratory hazards and chemical hazards. These activities must be adequate to perform the essential functions of the job.

Education: High School graduate or equivalent
Licensure: N/A
Work Experience: Aptitude and some training in arts and crafts.
Skills: Must have the ability to plan and organize recreational activities.
Traits: Ability to plan and organize activities and work with the elderly.
